What is ARDF all about?

ARDF = Radio-Orientatie-loop: In een terrein van ca. 3x3km, met behulp van een draagbare peilontvanger, lopend en binnen 2 uur tijd, 5 verstopte zenders opsporen. Wie het snelst terug is heeft gewonnen.

ARDF = Radio-Orientation-Run: Find with the use of a portable direction-finding-receiver, walking and within 2 hours, 5 hidden transmitters, in a piece of terrain of abt. 3x3km2.

FoxOring = binnen 3 uur tijd 16 zenders opsporen, die continue en met een zeer kleine reikwijdte zenden, en waarvan de positie globaal op een oriëntatieloop-kaart is aangegeven. Hier komt het vooral op oriënteren aan.

  • Fox 1: MOE or -- --- .
  • Fox 2: MOI or -- --- ..
  • Fox 3: MOS or -- --- ...
  • Fox 4: MOH or -- --- ....
  • Fox 5: MO5 or -- --- .....
  • Finish Fox: MO or -- --- often
